Visit a Club Meeting or Event

Your first experience with the Rotary Club of Sidney by the Sea should be to attend one of our club meetings or club events to meet our members and get a feel for the club. You’ll love the energy at our morning meetings!

Connect with Club Membership Committee

Your member sponsor or mentor will liaise with you and our club membership committee. The membership committee will work with you to ensure our club will meet your expectations from your membership.

Interview for Membership

The membership interview is not a competitive process, it is an opportunity to connect with existing club leaders and talk through what you hope to achieve from membership. Being a Rotarian is about more than joining your fellow club members for breakfast every week — it’s about working to achieve positive outcomes for the community.

Become a Member

You’ll be inducted as a member during a club meeting once you’ve paid your club dues. As a member, you’re part of a worldwide network of Rotarians, are welcome at any Rotary club around the world, and are eligible for different forms of recognition from your club membership and contributions. You will be paired with a mentor to help ensure you find the best opportunities within the club as you begin your membership.

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Club members are assessed dues of $130 semi-annually, as well as the cost for breakfast which is  a continental breakfast at the rate of $5 per meeting assessed semi-annually.

FLEXIBILITY

Club members are not required to attend a set amount of meetings or club events in order to allow you to gauge your involvement in the club to meet the needs of your life.
